Kaichou wa Maid-sama and Haikyu!

I am still watching Kaichou wa Maid-sama - I have hardly had any time to watch anime as I am back at school now but I am really enjoying it. Usui is so h-o-t! 

That is Usui (in case you couldn't guess!)

I've also started Haikyu(u)! I have seen lots of different spellings for it...

I didn't enjoy the first episode at all. It was just all flash backs and was confusing, however the second and third episode were a lot better! I am really enjoying it now and can't wait for episode 4 on Saturday. The main character is a little annoying, however the main characters often are and it's the back up characters that are my personal favourites, however I haven't seen anybody I really like so far. They aren't very good looking either - in Kuroko no Basuke the characters were very good looking!

I have missed the excitement of waiting for the next episode as all the anime I was watching finished about three/four weeks ago and the anime I have watched since has all been completed. This adds to the enjoyment of watching it!

Sakurasou no pet na konojo

I FINISHED SAKURASOU NO PET NA KONOJO *cries*

It's... over...
I really liked it actually. It's funny and clever and not actually too cliched. TOO cliched I said don't shoot me

I really liked most of the characters, but I especially liked Akasaka, Masaki and Jin! I quite liked how Mahiro wasn't as emotionless and dead as some other emotionless characters (like Kagari from Witch Craft Works). It definitely didn't get dull towards the end like Strike the Blood did, mostly because of the emotional speech given by Masaki at graduation, and the prospect of tearing down Sakurasou. I loved the first intro but the second I didn't like...

I know it's not a proper review but I'm tired :( 

Anyway I will post again soon!!! Promise!!! And Happy Easter if you celebrate it just in case I don't post again!

Strike the Blood

So I finished Strike the Blood a couple of days ago (I know it took a long time but I was on holiday with no WiFi) so I'm going to write a little review.

To start with I really enjoyed it. Good characters, a fairly interesting plot with some twists and some parts that were properly funny. The opening themes were good and the tunes were catchy. I wasn't sure about the different plots every few episodes. It seemed like it was just a couple of films that weren't really linked except the characters were similar and everyone wanted to destroy the island. The plot grew dull after a couple of these. It was a drag to watch it, and the only thing that kept me watching it was the fact that I wanted to see what would happen with Lord Ardeal and exactly who he was and what he was doing. These things were never really answered. I did like how it wasn't always clear whether Vatler was a villain or on Kojou's side though as it made it more interesting. The end was ridiculous. I'm sorry but Kojou and Himeragi's daughter came back from the future? Was that necessary? What if you shipped Asagi with Kojou (I don't really know who I ship with Kojou) or Astarte or Kanase? Or anyone? And who was Asagi married to? They are probably leaving these questions so they can make a Season 2 but when?! 
Grrrr...

It also annoys me every time Himeragi calls Kojou indecent. Seriously he couldn't control the situation and he's a teenage boy! Don't wear a wet shirt that doesn't cover much etc

Anyway I have started two new anime (recommended by two different people)
One is Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo and the other is Kaichou wa Maid-sama. I am only a couple of episodes in to each one though so I haven't really got much of an opinion on it yet.

JUDAL IS GAY!!!!!!!!! IT SAID HIS TYPE IS 'strong guys' so you know... 2+2=JUDAL IS GAY! Also it said Titus' type is 'Marga'.  Incest much?! My own children...

Also Rikasa is now incest?!?! Levi Ackerman? How did this happen?!?! IS MIKASA LYING??!! To be honest I had a lot to catch up on SNK wise. I went off it just after I finished the anime and the art changed. It is getting ridiculous - can't they go to the basement already!!??

Midorima would have green pubes. Just thought I'd let that out (I'm probably not the first or last to think of this but still). 

QOTD: what colour is worst for pubes out of all the generation of miracles? (Red, yellow, green, blue, purple, turquoise bluey greeny colour (if you include Kuroko))

Morgiana

I was re-watching a couple of Magi scenes earlier and I realized how crappy the animation quality is for Morgiana's dance in Season 1. It doesn't make her look as beautiful as she should be in that scene (or Alibaba says she is) and it jitters all the way through. Her dancing should be smooth in my opinion. I didn't remember it that way and was surprised. I decided to re-watch it after reading a blog that criticized and I thought that it was unfair to start with but then I watched it and... no. I'm sorry but it's awful. Her feet look big and clumsy and she just jumps from one end of the screen to the other waving her arms about. It looks unprofessional. True she looks beautiful in some parts but we need to see her beautiful the whole way through. It is episode 18 of the first season if you can't remember/want to see it and about 20 minutes in. I am pretty sure she danced again and looked properly beautiful ALL the way through it another time, but I can't find it anywhere. If you know where it is, please let me know :)

Crossovers and a house

So I was browsing the Internet and I saw these pictures. I have seen them before but in case you haven't seen them and I am pretty sure you will have seen them but here you go!

Also I saw a house opposite my school that looks just like Yunan! It was kind of thin and fairly short with a pointy roof. The roof had been painted green where you could see it and the window and door frames were cream! There were some plants going down one side of it that looked sort of like a plait.

Emi is so adorable!

I've known for a while that the members of the Generation of Miracles were named after colours but I didn't realize just how closely related they were!

My favourite character here is either Nonon or Gamagori ♥

It's a cat! Titus is so cute I LOVED THE MAGI ENDING (I have read the manga I knew it was going to happen but still)

I wish the scene with Yunan, Aladdin and Sinbad was animated this series. That was probably my favourite part of the manga so far and it WASN'T ANIMATED :'(

Strike the Blood - First Impressions

I have just started 'Strike the Blood' so I decided to do a first impressions post. I am on episode 3 so please don't leak any spoilers!!

So far I think it's interesting, and I am looking forward to seeing some points explained. The main character is good looking (but not as good looking as the guy he was studying with in episode 1) but I think the girl 'Sword Shaman' has a very changeable character and nothing is leaked from her. One moment she is embarrassed, the next she is going to kill someone and after that she is friendly. This seems unrealistic, and yes I know it isn't supposed to be unrealistic but she should choose something to be. Most other characters are emotionless or over-cheerful or depressed etc but her mood swings aren't even that violent so she doesn't fall under that category. It was probably designed to be like this though.

The graphics are very good - they seem serious (not cartoony but like proper drawings) and the characters are easily distinguishable which is good. The bubbly, excitable younger sister isn't original but it adds some humour and I quite like her. I feel that she is needed though.

A bad thing is High School though. Is every anime linked to High School?! Seriously that is not realistic - a powerful title like that should go to someone with experience and not a young high schooler waiting for their life to begin.

I haven't gotten into the intro yet but I normally do at some point so I will have to get back to you on that!

I will definitely continue watching it and will rate/review it at some point in the near future (probably)!!

Kill la Kill sheet music easy

This post will be fairly short but I thought I should share this with you - yesterday or the day before I linked a website that had some anime opening themes piano sheet music - well I have just made the Kill la Kill (Sirius) second opening slightly easier to play and put it on a website.

Kuroko no Basket (SPOILERS ALERT)

As a whole, I have really enjoyed KnB. I have watched all of the episodes and read the manga. I think the characters are amazing and although the plot isn't very original, it is interesting and fun to watch.

But the matches drag on too much. Seriously. One match takes about six episodes to complete and it is practically the same - they are playing the same opponents so it is probably going to be similar, even if they pull some trick out of the bag. I know I've mentioned this before, but it should come to light (Kagami!) The plot is unoriginal - you can bet that they are going to win every single game (even if they experience some hardships along the way) and you would win almost every time (I know there is that match at the Inter High but every other match they are going to win. You can bet.) Three episodes ago I was pretty much bored of the whole thing except for the tweets that people post on twitter and crack videos. The last three episodes improved, though.

I do love the characters and the OPs, though. I love Kiyoshi Teppei the best - he is so beautiful and his persona is funny (albeit a bit annoying at times). I also love Kise (who doesn't?!) and Momoi (btw do you say it as Moh-moy or moy-moy?)

Overall, I enjoy KnB but the matches need to be shorter and there should be some twists in the plot. Less cheesy gasps as well! I really want to see all of the matches of the Winter Cup in Season 3 (August I think) and even this seems too long to wait.

I know it's not very long, but that is what I think of KnB. What is your opinion?

So it's Mother's Day today (in case you hadn't realized!) so I thought it would be an idea to create a tribute to any Mother's out there. But of course, it is in anime form. 
It's not a very... inventive tribute so don't get your hopes up!

The links above are to sites where you can find free piano sheet music to anime openings (and some closing songs) Of course, you could just type in "free anime sheet music piano" or something along those lines and just wait, but since you are here you might as well check out these :)

My favourite one is the top one (the josh.agarrado one) because it is very simple to use, it has pretty much everything and you can easily navigate immediately to a letter or search for an anime, and so you can find it quicker. The pieces are fairly difficult (I printed out "Sirius" from Kill la Kill and it has about twenty different sharps and then changes key so there are about twenty different flats. Also the bass clef goes right down three octaves below Middle C) and I think they are about a Grade 4 up standard (or at least the ones that I have seen)

So first of all, should I create an Ask.fm? (I think that's how you write it!) If so, what should I call it? Or do you have to call it anything at all? I probably will make one and link it at some point but still, comment anything about ask.fm - including your own link!

Also, I am not sure if I am happy with the name (It is manganime heart in case you had forgotten - tell your friends!) It sounds quite cheesy but I don't know. It will stay as Manganime Heart until I can think of something (or you can think of something - pretty please!)

Today's topic is: WHY IS EVERYTHING ENDING THIS WEEK?!

(Jks don't worry I'm not going to start like this every time I want to rant.)

But seriously it's really sad. Kurobas is ending, Magi is ending, Kill la Kill is ending and Noragami is ending. (Three of them have already ended but still it was this week)

It's horrible. What am I supposed to do on a Saturday night now? Watch The Voice? Pfft. Boring now. And on Sunday when you curl up and cry to Noragami and yell at the screen because Yato and Hiyori have STILL not kissed. But that is a rant for another time. And what am I supposed to do when I should be repeatedly refreshing my webpage to see if Magi has been subbed yet. For about three days. 

Also how does Kurobas drag out so long?! I love it and all, but each match is about six episodes long! 

Do you think the scene with Yunan and the house and Aladdin in the library wearing his magic tool glasses with Sinbad? (I don't think that counts as a proper spoiler. If so I'm sorry and you have my permission to shout at me in the comments!)

So I remember when I was younger and went to Brownies (I don't know if they have them in the US but they are basically a group of really young girls who meet somewhere once a week to discuss adventures. Look it up) and we used to sing a song about swimming. The lyrics are below:

How much Japanese do you know?
I was thinking earlier that I would really like to learn the language. I have picked up some from watching anime - some frequent words start to stand out!
